Juno’s 2005 in Winnipeg were great! C and I went with my Mom and Dad and had a good time. We were sitting up to the left of the stage where the performers and presenters were sitting. We brushed shoulders with the likes of Amanda Stott, Keith Urban, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Feist, Billy Talent, K-OS, Marc Jordan and Ron Sexsmith… among others.
We were even seen on television, although not close up and one probably wouldn’t recognize us! But I did! I saw my Dad in his nice purple shirt! Ron McLean was also there and sat a few rows behind us and a few rows to the left. I tried to get pictures but because of the lighting they didn’t all turn out! Oh well. I got a great one of Keith Urban as he was standing up. My Mom and I yelled “KEITH” and he turned and waved at us and I got his picture! Mom was very excited about that and spent the entire night watching Keith Urban. He was two rows down on the aisle from us.
It was really a neat experience and am so glad that I got us tickets to go! I will post some pictures later on and get the one of Keith Urban up! Woo Hoo!
