This afternoon at “coffee break” a friend shared her experience of having her cards read by a psychic (sp) this past weekend. This topic reminded me of the first time that I had a psychic reading done.
My story:
First year of university at the U of O. My residence floor mates and I went to a psychic fair.
* You have just ended a relationship that you do not feel any closure to. You will have to just let this go, there will be no closure. That, you must find on your own. My take: During my first year away from home, my “highschool sweetheart” and I ended our (almost 2 year) relationship. Although I knew that we were not meant to spend the rest of our lives together, I mourned this breakup. He was my best friend and we were great friends for a long time before we became sweethearts.
* There is currently a situation within your family that is bothering you. You have not spoken to this person in some time, you want to be closer with them. I do not see this happening for you. My take: My (half) brother, Troy. The day that I met him I thought that we would just instantly find what we had missed out on. I met Troy when I was 16 and he was around 23. My parents had a son, Craig, that died when he was two. I never got to meet him but I have mourned that loss my entire life. I had hoped that Troy and I would be able to fill this void.
* You will be making a big decision in the upcoming months, that will take you far from here. You will only be back a few times in your life. This is a good decision to make even though you are not yet conviced that it is the right decision. Things will work out for you. My Take: I made the decision not to complete my university degree in Ottawa. I transferred to Manitoba the following year and went on to complete my bachelor of arts and my law degree.
* You will not yet be completed your studies when you will meet the man that you will marry. You will have much in common and he will already be finished his studies and working. He will encourage you to finish yours and will be a big support to you. There will be an instant bond. He will be the youngest of three brothers. My Take: CRAIG – I met Craig while I was in my first year of Law school. We had a long distance relationship from the beginning as he was off travelling the world for GE. I knew from the first time we met that this was it…. I just didn’t know how. In his first letter to me, he wrote: “I would wait forever for the chance to be with you”. We have never looked back.

howah…psychics eh? me too…i have a tape of my encounter…haven’t listened to it in awhile. i just recently signed up to have my reading done by this lady online…i know pathetic. hey whatever works! my whole outlook on religion and spirituality has changed so much over the years. i used to stick to my guns when it came to catholisicm….now im just not sure its for me anymore. not to say that i don’t believe in a higher power/god. just that i think he can be found in other places than just in a church. that’s it 4 now. just thinkin on ur blog….
