This one is just as exciting as all of the others.
We are now officially halfway through our pregnancy. Only 20 more weeks until Pea’s grand entrance into our lives. I am gently reminded every day just how very blessed we are.
Dear Pea,
So long we waited for the right time to open our lives up to a baby. Your Daddy and I talked about having children long before we were married. Our dream together was to get married, enjoy one another and eventually have a family. I want you to know that you have been growing in our hearts for years. Being blessed with you did not come easy to your Daddy and I. We worked hard for almost two years doing everything that was in our power to create you.
We are now giddy with the excitement of you. We start each day thankful that we were choosen to be your Mommy and Daddy and we end each day talking about you. I have read that you can hear us now and I know that you are part of our conversations.
The first 20 weeks have gone by so fast and I can’t help but think about how quickly the next 20 weeks will go by. We are so anxious to meet you, hold you and snuggle you. There are so many other family members looking forward to meeting you too.
The time is not here yet, so snuggle in and we will count the next half of this pregnancy journey down together.

As we cross the halfway mark – please continue to be kind to your mother and allow her to enjoy you for the next 20 weeks as she has enjoyed you for the past 20 weeks. You mother is in her glory carrying you. I anxiously await the opportunity to feel your first kick. I’ll be talking to you soon.
