I realize just how fortunate I am.
Two years ago December we began one of the longest journeys of our life. Our journey to become parents. Now we are enjoying the kicks and awes of pregnancy, not forgetting what it was like to be struggling.
I realize how many other couples are still riding the infertility train waiting for their stop. My heart goes out to them because I know what it is like to be riding that train, never knowing which stop will be yours. Never knowing if you even have a stop.
I realize that although the 1.5 years of trying seemed like an eternity, so many other couples try for much longer. Some never stop trying.
I realize that I have so much to be thankful for.
I realize that many years from now, I will still wake up in the morning and think about just how very much I have been given. I look over at Craig and I think, “you are going to be a daddy” and somedays I still cannot believe it.
I realize that I am going to be a mother.

anybody can be parents nic but you and craig are going to be a great mommy and daddy to little pea. he or she is as blessed as you and graig good luck and stay healthy on the second half of your journey love ya lots

Thank you for expressing it so well and letting me recall the wonderance of those days
