What a Christmas!

What a great Christmas! It was one of those years that I was looking forward to Christmas with excited anticipation and it was wonderful! I even had some “empty house” blues when my parents and sister left on boxing day.

We celebrated with my parents, my sister and Craig’s parents. Seven of us in total. Cooked the biggest bird we have ever had – 25 lbs! Can you imagine. It took 9 hours to cook and about 20 minutes to eat! LOL. It was so good.

We were given a High Chair from my sister, Michelle. It took us about an hour on Christmas Eve to put it together (and when I say us, I really mean Craig). We really like it tho and so does Molson. It comes with a bar that toys hang from and Molson was pretty sure that those toys were meant for him. It was so cute. He was so disciplined sitting there waiting for the toys to play with. He finally tired of waiting for them and hasn’t been back to the high chair since. I guess his little peanut brain has forgotten all about them.

Craig made the comment that “this is the last Christmas that it will be about me.” My thoughts were, “um, honey… the last Christmas that was about you was before we met.”

It’s hard to believe that 2006 is just around the corner. That year has two major life changing events for me. The first one of course and the most exciting is the birth of our first baby. The second is that I will turn 30. I don’t feel 30 and I am not ready to be 30. It sounds so grown up. I’m not ready to be grown up.

Remember years can not change the young at heart!

Don’t let the 30’s scare you, they’re really not so bad…

and your not the only one, I’m not ready to grow up yet either…

you only have to ACT like a grown up when the kids are teenagers, then after that I think your “old enough” to act any damn way you please. lol
Happy New Year

Glad you had a great Christmas…a highchair, how fun πŸ™‚

Hey, saw your post about the BonnyTbay stuff for the girl stuff. I am afraid that the shipping would probably cost more than it would be to buy all the stuff brand new ..LOL! 5 FIFTY gallon Rubbermaids FULL. I am going to go through to see what I can get away with putting on a boy though…then I will let you know. I do know I have some really nice dresses that probably still have the tags on them…I was bad that way. By the time I went to put it on her, it was too small πŸ™
