I think we are about as ready
as we are every going to be.
We have the crib, dresser,
change table (that we decided
to get at the last minute), bassinette
(for first month or so) and the rocker
glider.
We also have clothing to get us through
a month or so anyway. Diapers for the
first week and all the wonderful wipes
and oh so necessary diaper rash cream.
Sigh. As per Craig’s comment to friends
yesterday, “I am anxious now. I just want
the baby to be here already.”
Ditto, baby… me too. For oh so many
reasons (you know like cuddling our bundle
of joy and all that jazz) but also because I am
just getting so darn uncomfortable.
