Each year Craig and I manage to find a team that will add the two of us to their roster. We are playing with a group of local lawyers who have never played together before. Instead of slo-pitch where you lob the ball we are playing orthodox. Usually the first time up for to bat they will “girly” pitch to me (you know nice and slow cuz I am a girl), I get one good hit and then no more girly pitches for me.
Then I never hit another ball.
I much prefer the actual slow pitching of the ball. Most people can hit and we all have a grand time.
Last night we played a fun game of slo-pitch with employees from the BMO. It was a ton of fun… we didn’t win but that’s okay. Piper came out to watch Daddy play catcher and Mommy play first base. The three of us then joined everyone at a local lounge for drinks and appetizers.
We are now officially people who take their baby to a bar. LOL. It was just a lounge but still fun to make jokes about.

oh oh .. first we do all nite poker and beer and then a lounge !!! What is my granddaughter thinking ???? We will have to have a talk about her parents in July when we see her again.. I miss her, maybe she should start her summer visits this year.. LMAO
