and I’ll be back to work.
I am feeling good about this change. I am still a bit sad that someone else gets to spend their days with my daughter. I also know that this is going to be good for her. She needs to step outside her comfort zone too. The first few days were tough (even though it was only for a few hours). She cried when I dropped her off and cried when I picked her up. Then on Friday, I dropped her off… she cried. But that quickly stopped when they all started to play outside. She didn’t cry at all when I picked her up. She heard my voice and looked over in my direction. Once she saw me and with the biggest smile ever she toddled as fast as she could into my arms.
There were no tears.
So Monday she spends with Daddy and on Tuesday when I drop her off I will probably be the one crying.
ps: We went to the zoo Friday afternoon and this is Sweet Pea all tuckered out.
