We were THAT family…

You know the one. The one that is either sitting beside
you, behind you or in front of you on the airplane. The
one with the baby, toddler, child that just won’t stop
crying.

BOO YAH!

Even I was eyeing up those exits and she was MINE.

The first flight from Halifax to Toronto, was… well there
just is no other way to say it… TERRIBLE. Piper started
crying and screaming bloody murder during take off and
I think she stopped briefly at some point in flight… but
to tell you the truth, my nerves were shot. Craig and I
spent the entire two hour flight passing that 30 pound
toddler between us and trying to bribe her with all kinds
of tasty treats.

She wanted none of that.

The second flight from Toronto to Winnipeg was….
MISERABLE. I bet you didn’t think it could get
much worse. Piper cried so hard during take off that her
30 pound body was shaking….. and although it tired her out
and her eyes did the heavy flicker, there was no sleep in
our near future.

I prayed for sweet relief and it finally arrived just as we
were commencing our desent …. so, if you were on either
of those flights….

I’m. So. Sorry.

Poor Piper. Poor Mom. Next time we fly we will have 3 kids and I am terrified.

Poor kid. If her ears were as sore as mine were on my first flight, I can see why she was screaming.

You must have been so frazzled trying to deal with that. At least it’s over. šŸ™‚

my second was about 13 months old and learned how to scream on a plane…normally a quiet kid he ‘found his voice’ and was immediately enamoured…oh the looks!
