Dear Piper – You became a big sister this month! I’m not sure that you quite understand it all but once Davilyn is home, things will start to sink in. You were quite excited the day she arrived. Gramma & Papa were here with you and brought you to the hospital. You were in quiet awe of the baby but you knew it was your little sister.
You spent the week at Gramma & Papa’s and oh how I missed you… I wasn’t sure that you missed us when Gramma repoted that you didn’t cry for us. You did, however, ask about Mama, Daddy and little sister. As far as you knew, Mama and Davilyn were still with the doctor and Daddy was at work.
You came home today and you had the biggest smile on your face when you saw me… and it made me so happy! You kept running over to me all night giving me hugs and saying “Mama Home. Piper Home.” It melted my heart.
Tomorrow we go to the hospital to visit Davilyn. I can’t wait for you to see her again. I know you are excited too. Tonight while I was putting you to bed you asked if Little Sister was home. It will be a big adjustment for us and for you but I think that we will all do fine.
For your 27th month, you are finally a big sister. Finally. I know that you will fill those big sister shoes just perfectly!

OH WOW! CONGRATS!!!!! Piper is going to be such an amazing big sis and Davilyn is so adorable!!! I can’t wait to hear what life with 2 lovely ladies is like. Congratulations to you all!

Your post made my eyes all misty. Piper will be a fabulous big sister. Did I ever mention that is the girl’s name we have picked out if we have another girl someday? That and Paige. Our daughter is Phoebe. I hope someday we get our own family of “Charmed” ones.
