Being pregnant the second time around = much harder
and much more tiring.
The NICU experience the second time around = less stressful
and a new born the seond time around = cake walk.
I don’t have the time or the energy to jump everytime Miss Bug
squeaks, stretches or toots. By the time I leap over my, oh so cute,
two year year old and trip over all the toys, Miss Bug is settled
back down (or really wailing because she’s starving and poopy).
Seriously though, aside from the lack of sleep, things are really good.
Life with two is fabulous and I love this. I love that Piper kisses and
hugs Davilyn (even if she hasn’t quite mastered the gentle touch).
I love that when I pick her up after being at daycare all day she is just
as excited to see Davilyn as she is to see me.
Life as a family of four is awesome.

I’m so glad to read this. I’m so worried that it’s going to be so hard. Cake walk? I should be so lucky but at least I have hope now. 🙂
Sounds like you all are doing great! I agree taking care of a baby the next time around is not as stressful, except for the lack of sleep. Although N is my 3rd, he’s really like my 2nd. I’m loving the baby gazes and big brother things too!

funny you posted this cause this week Kyrsten started screaming and I think its cause she needs more attention. I can’t run to her like I did with Carter. Sounds like you are doing an amazing job!
