Month 6 – Letter to Davilyn

Dear Davilyn

Time is flying right by us! You are now officially half way through your first year of life and we can hardly believe it. I have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. I am amazed that we have already had six glorious months with you.

Piper is so in love with you and talks about you every chance she gets. She is such a proud big sister.

We decorated your first Christmas Tree and you loved looking at the lights. You spent a week at home alone with Mommy & Daddy while your sister went to Gramma & Papa’s. You had lots of fun with Mommy and helped her get some Christmas baking done. We have had a bit of set back when it comes to your sleep habits. You have shaken up your routine a little bit and have been watching some movies with Mommy & Daddy in the evenings. You, however, are still my sleep monger. There are many nights when we check on you because we haven’t heard a peep! I hope you will always be such a good little sleeper.

You are now eating three square meals a day… okay not quite but you have tried carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, strawberries, pears, and bananas. You still much prefer your bottle but you are getting the hang of eating your solids as well. Soon will come the days when we will have to put on full body suits for meal times and start dodging the food that will be flying.

This is the time of year that Mommy loves! Soon it will be CHRISTMAS! We are looking forward to Christmas with you and watching you experience it all for the first time. We are going to have so much fun with you and your sister is too. Don’t be too upset if she opens all your presents this year.
