Where Dreams Come True

Although there were many times that I jokingly said that Disney World should be renamed “Wait Disney World”, we had a great trip. We spent one day at Universal Studios and then 6 fun filled days at the theme parks at Walt Disney World. Craig and I were actually able to take one day without the kids and go wild. The perks of vacationing with Grandparents!

We visited all four parks and spent two extra days at Magic Kingdom… it is that Magical! We still did not see or do everything that there is to do at WDW. We are really looking forward to going back in May. Knowing what we want to see and do again will make planning our days that much easier. The weather was terribly cold so we didn’t have much opportunity to spend time in the pool swimming and that has now become a must do for our trip in May.

We spent our first day at Universal Studios. The weather was chilly and the park was quiet. We were able to enjoy Seuss Landing and started meeting some special characters. Our first official autograph came from Spiderman!

We started our Disney experience by spending our first day at Magic Kingdom (where else?)! I kind of wish that Craig and I had done the Disney experience before we had kids. Kids make it magical but they also tie ya down a bit. Having said that, experiencing it with our girls was a once in a lifetime moment (or moments) and that is magical too.

It was a once in a lifetime vacation with my parents as well and we were happy to be able to go with them. I am quite sure that we are all still trying to catch up on our sleep because we were in GO mode the entire trip.
I can’t do this trip justice in just one post. I will try and come back from time to time and talk about our Disney experience and post some pictures… because we got some great ones (and lots of them!)

Sounds like a great trip. (My hubby and I went before the kids, I think it will be much better with the kids! To see the wonder in their eyes is the thing I can’t wait to see)

Can’t wait to hear more!

Take care
