Dearest Davilyn ~

It’s hard to believe that 10 months have come and gone since your birth, but they have…

One of the best moments of my day is when I go to get you from your crib. You are usually lying there talking and playing. The instant you see me you get the biggest smile on your face and that makes my heart sing.

There is no doubt in my mind that we have really bonded in the last 10 months. When you are tired, cranky or crying you just want your Mama. It is a great feeling to know that I can bring you comfort just by being in the room. It makes me feel like Super Mom. Sometimes, I wonder if this hurts Daddy’s feelings. I know he totally understands the bond we share and why we share it. We spend so much time together.

You have started clapping this past month and it is so cute! You are very proud of yourself and so are we! Now Piper is trying to teach you how to do Patty Cakes. It won’t be long now, and the two of you will be playing together.

You have been cutting your top teeth, for what seems like forever! They are barely cutting through and you have been miserable for over a week now. I just wish they would cut through and be done with it. We are all sleep deprived in this house because of it and we all miss our sleep so very much.

You are the happiest baby on the block and we are sure lucky for that! There isn’t much that upsets you, well aside from sitting on a dirty bum. You are such a trooper and you go with the flow wherever it happens to take you. You are a wonderful baby.

Mama and Daddy bought a new camper last month and we cannot wait to take you out. I am dreaming of days spent on the beach in the sand with the three loves of my life and the nights cuddled around a campfire eating s’mores. I look forward to sharing all these memories with you.

Mama loves you Boo,

Love Mama.
