That’s just how I roll

I am both a lover and a hater of surprises. I love to be surprised but if I know something is brewing… I can’t stand it. The suspense kills me. Makes.Me.Crazy. The best way to surprise me, is to totally take me by surprise.

The Christmas season is tortureous (and I am sure Craig would agee). I love the idea of getting something that I have no idea I am getting. This year, Craig did well. He bought me my DSLR and I had no idea I was going to be getting it. This is not what usually happens.

Fast forward to this past week. The lack of a decent laptop at my disposal has made me bitchy. Frustrated. I can’t log onto my work network. I can’t do my scrapbooking. I can’t edit my photos. I can’t download my photos. These are things that I do for fun. To unwind. My hobbies. It just is not worth setting this laptop up to do anything more than email and internet. It wouldn’t run my programs without freezing every five seconds. It has not been fun and I know that Craig was getting tired of listening to me gripe about it.

So today, in my frustration of not being able to download my photos, I made a comment that obviously set Craig off. I know he tires of hearing me gripe about it… I know, but as the Title reads… That’s just how I roll.

His response to me was, (insert frustrated tone here) “Well just so you know, your new laptop will be here on Wednesday.”

He was trying to surprise me, since my birthday is coming up. He caves under the pressure of my nagging. Cause that my readers, is how HE rolls. This is also the other reason why surprising me is next to impossible.

I think you and I are very much alike in the surprise department!

Congrats on the new computer, I am sure you can’t wait!

Take care
