When the world says, "Give Up."

Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”

My sister phoned me in May and told me she was pregnant.  And I lost my breath.  I was so happy.  I thought ahead to winter and how there would be another baby in our family.  Another cousin for my girls.  One that they would see.  Get to know.  Grow up with.
It doesn’t seem to matter that the answers aren’t always to be found.  We always seem to ask the questions… we always want to know the reasons.  Or at least we think we do.
The pregnancy wasn’t viable.  It isn’t me this time, but my hopes are crushed too.

I'm so sorry for your sister. When you know personally how bad it is, it hurts even when it's someone else. So sorry to hear.

Sorry for the loss, my friend. 🙁

I have to agree with Jen above, it does hurt you even when it is someone else – because you know personally how it feels. I get a lump in my throat whenever I hear that someone lost a pregnancy, even if I don't know them very well.

I'm sorry for her loss.

I'm so sorry for your sister. My best friend had a loss a month ago and I was crushed too. I was hoping we'd both have small children together to play together.
