Davilyn really is a sleep monger… she really does love her sleep. I think she just forgot. Or she thought she wanted me more than she wanted sleep. She was wrong. After quite a few miserable nights of sleep and very early mornings, Craig thought we should let Davilyn cry it out. I hate the “crying it out” method, but I was game. So long as it didn’t last too long and she didn’t throw up (which she has been known to do).
Tuesday night… she cried all of 10 minutes and then slept through until 8:00 a.m. Could have been a fluke, I guess. Wednesday night, no crying and slept through until I woke her at 7:15 a.m. Could have been a double fluke… except that she has been doing it ever since Tuesday. That is 4 nights in a row.
It’s funny how this whole sleep thing works. When her cries don’t wake me… her silence does. Hopefully I will soon be sleeping through the night too.
