Dear Piper ~

So I often I find myself looking at videos or pictures of you. So often I find myself shocked at the little girl that you have turned into.   I look at you and then I look at Davilyn and it’s amazing that you were once that small.  You continue to amaze me and challenge me in ways that I could not have imagined.

I must admit, three is not my favourite age so far.  You test your boundries on a daily basis… sometimes multiple times a day.  It’s so hard.  It’s so necessary.  I know this is a natural part of your development and I have to keep reminding myself of that.  I just have to hope that I am doing things “right” and that we will both come out “okay” on the other side… four has to be better, right?
You are still my funny little girl.  You are so caring and you love your friends.  You love having friends and being with your friends.  You are a social butterfly, just like your Mama.  I love your outgoing personality… it will serve you well in life.
I am really enjoying my time at home with my girls.  Working three days a week seems to be a pretty good balance for us right now.  You thrive at daycare and I love hearing all about your little adventures.  You love filling me in on Davilyn’s day as well.
We are enjoying our summer camping as much as we can.  You love it!  I love that you enjoy it so much.  It is great family time and quality family time.  I love that we are able to get out and spend this time together.  I love that you are enjoying it as much as I am because I can’t help but think of the time when you will be off without us.
Mama loves you Sweet Pea… Love Mommy.
