Dear Piper ~
There are many moments that I catch a glimpse of you and I cannot believe that you are four years old. Four years have gone by in a flash and you really are growing up so very fast. When I look at you, I am often struck with a feeling that you are so much older than four. You are just so independent and so very bright. You are my Piper and oh how I love you.
You and I butt heads a lot, these days. You are trying to assert your independence and I am trying to keep the apron strings tight.
We had our first sleep out in the camper (for this season) last night. You love everything about it. We are hoping to start getting out so we can spend our weekends camping together. Let’s hope things slow down for us and this weather starts giving us some rain free weekends!
We are heading off to Gramma & Papa’s place for a week in June and you are looking forward to it. The last time we were there, you wanted to skip rocks on the lake but the weather was not cooperating. I’m sure this time, the weather will be fine!
