Celebrate good times, COME ON! We had Davilyn’s second birthday party on Saturday and it rocked! I love watching my girls play with all of their little friends. My sister and parents came out for a few days. The girls love to have them visit. It was great for Craig and I as well, since we were able to be preoccupied with the party and know that someone had Quinn.
I also got a Pinata! The kids loved it but the Pinata fillers I bought were not that great. Next time, I will fill it with individual candies that I can buy at Walmart or somewhere similar. That’s the Birthday Girl with the hockey stick getting ready to take a swing at Dora.
One thing that I like to make a big deal of is birthdays. Craig was never fond of his birthday because many years ago, his grandmother was killed by a drunk driver on his birthday. So it became more of a bitter occasion for him. I turned that around and even if we are celebrating quietly with a cake at home… we are celebrating. It’s because of birth days that I have my amazing family.
