Remember this post about Craig travelling to Chicago for a whole week without me? You know, and leaving me to fend for myself with three kids aged 4 and under. Remember how I was getting ready to save a list of reinforcements on my speed dial?
There has been a slight change of plans… Oh, he is still going to Chicago at the end of the month for an entire week. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is that I am going with him! I am so excited I’m dancing in my seat…. hmm, isn’t that lyrics in a song? Oh no wait, that’s “Dancing in the streets.” Either way, I’m dancing.
Diva 1 and Diva 2 are going to my parents for a week while Diva 3 and I join Craig in Chicago. Craig has to work while we are there but I fully intend to introduce Diva 3 (and myself) to Chicago. I intend to shop the Magnificent Mile, visit the Premium Outlets, do some sightseeing and eat! I know there are tons of great places to eat in Chicago and I plan to enjoy some of them!
My parents are so great for taking the big girls. We had, at one time, looked into booking plane tickets for all of us to go but it was pretty pricey. Since Quinn still flies for free, it’s just an extra ticket for me that we have to pay for and I am looking forward to it…
