Is cradling Quinn in the crook of my arm and laying with her in bed (I loved doing this with all three of my Divas). I then rest my lips on her forehead and breathe her in. I kiss her and whisper to her.
I sing.
I listen.
I listen to her breathing.
I listen to her sigh. That content sigh that says, “I’m safe. I’m home. I’m tired.”
I listen to her suck on her soother.
Sometimes, when I am lucky, I get to do this with the older two Divas as well. When we were on our vacation, for instance. I shared my bed with both Piper and Davilyn and (I’m not gonna lie) I loved every minute of it. I love that Piper still wants to snuggle. I loved that Davilyn actually let me (you know, since she has never been much of a co-sleeper).
So, when I do put Quinn to sleep by snuggling with her on our bed …. I enjoy it. Every single second. I love it. Every single second.

Awwww! (I miss the snuggle time with my girl.. she has out grown me, and she's only 3… what's a mom to do…)
