Dearest Davilyn ~

This summer we witnessed you become a brave little girl on the rides at Tinkertown. You rode the roller coaster this year and loved it! You wanted to go again and again and again. It was so much fun.

It was so much fun watching you have so much fun!

We have had such a great summer and I am so happy that we had this special time together. You are growing so fast and since there is no way for me to actually slow time down, I am enjoying our last summer of freedom to it’s fullest. I hope you are too!
I am trying to get you interested in using the potty, but to be honest, you don’t care. Nope, not you. Not one bit. I am pretty confident that you won’t be going to kindergarten in diapers, but I would really like to be changing just one bum. So let’s vow to work extra hard on this, okay.
I cannot believe that it is September already. Soon we will be trading our shorts for jeans and our t shirts for sweaters but I am hoping for a nice warm fall so that we can enjoy the great outdoors just a bit longer. We are hoping to get out one more time in the camper before we have to put it away for the winter. Camping with you this summer has been so much fun. I love the extra cuddle time that we get.
Mama is hoping to get you registered for some swimming lessons this fall so we can play in the water together. You are far to brave in the water for my liking and I will feel much better if you were actually learning how to swim. You just have no fear.
You are such a wonderful little girl. When we talk on the phone, you always tell me “I love you.” You steal my heart every day.
Mama loves you, Boo.
Love Mama.
