Changes, Changes, Changes

The only thing that we can truly count on is that things will change.
Hockey registration starts this week. Piper is getting excited (and I am too). We are also hoping to register Piper and Davilyn for swimming. Quinn can kick back and just enjoy being our baby for a bit longer.
Piper starts preschool on the 14th and she will be going two mornings a week (thanks to some friends in town who have offered to assist us with transportation when I go back to work). She is so excited to be going to school. She is even more excited that she will be 5 on her next birthday (I know, 5! I can hardly believe it) and then she will be off to Kindergarten. I am excited for her and a bit sad for myself. I mean, my baby, is growing up. Going off to school. She changes right before my eyes and I am helpless to stop it.
Davilyn still has another year before she can attend preschool. She isn’t ready anyway. She is still so much one of my babies… and I think she enjoys it! Being two is a great age. The conversations that they are learning to have. The vocabulary. The attitude. It’s one of my favourite stages.
Quinn is really noticing things around her. She is pretty nosy and likes to sit up and see what is going on. For a while now, whenever we lay her down, she tries to sit up (sit up style). She is laughing now and rolled over for the first time when we were in Chicago. She is growing up so fast and learning things at lightning speed (as did her sisters, right). I am reminded everyday that these are my last moments with an infant…
Changes, changes, changes are always on the horizon. Always happening.
