Trick or Treat

It’s late and I am off to bed, soon, but I could not resist getting some photos up.  We started off the day, wrapping our Caramel Apples and making a few deliveries to to some little friends.  I hope they enjoyed their little treats as much as we enjoyed making them and eating them.  We had ours for dessert tonight.

We then spent more of our morning carving out our pumpkins.  Usually we do this a few days before Halloween, but because it was on a weekend this year, we were able to do it together today.  I mostly watched (and took photos) while Craig did all the dirty work.

This is our finished product.  Two of the pumpkins wore crowns this year as per the request of the Divas.  They are wanting to do more decorating for Halloween and now I will be on a hunt for more decorations.  Not that I mind.  I have just as much fun as they do (and maybe more).

Quinn had a costume this year too, but she didn’t do too much trick or treating.  She will be at a great age next year and our trio of girls will be off.  I am looking forward to it.

We went as the cast of Toy Story!  I don’t know if you can ready Craig’s shirt, but it says ANDY on it.  Craig’s parents are still here and they stayed home with Quinn and handed out treats.  I was so happy to be able to get out as a family.

(This is what Andy will look like when he is almost 40.  Thought I would let you know, just in case the Toy Story series ends at 3.  He grows up, marries the love of his life and has 3 Divas.  *wink*)

Some of my 2010 Halloween highlights include Piper yelling, “Trick or Treat, I’m your favourite Deputy!”  Davi yelling, “Trick or Treat from infinity and beyond!”

Each time I tried talking to Davilyn, she would say to me, “I’m not Davilyn! I’m Buzz!” She really got into the spirit of her character this year.  The girls were so much fun this year and I love watching the excitement in their eyes and hearing it in their voices.  It reminded me of the many times that I went running from door to door getting halloween treats.  I’m not looking forward to the day that the girls don’t want me dressing up and going door to door with them.  But, I know it’s coming and that’s why I have to make the most of my “todays”.

Happy Halloween.  I hope it was a sweet as mine.
