Dearest Davilyn ~

Another successful halloween in the bag for you!  Oh what fun you had.  It was awesome to watch you and join you on this little adventure.  What a great day we had.  You dressed up as Buzz Lightyear and insisted that I call you Buzz and not Davilyn.  It was funny.

We are still working on the potty training thing with you.  Since Grammy and Grampy have been here, you seem to have completely regressed.  I’d be lying if I said that this didn’t disappoint me.  It does.  I am really hoping that once things settle down after Grammy and Grampy go home, you will start this process fresh and be done with diapers and pull ups.  It doesn’t help that you have a will of steel.

The weather is starting to get cold now and soon we will be looking out our windows to a blanket of snow.  The first snow fall is always exciting and I am looking forward to watching you make snow angels.

It’s hard for me to believe that another Christmas is just around the corner.  You are going to be great fun this year and I wonder if you will cry on Santa’s knee again.  I am really looking forward to celebrating and watching you get dozy on excitement.

You have started swimming lessons with Daddy and are having fun.  You love the water and, every time you get in the tub, you insist that you are swimming.

You are a such a cute little girl.  I love when I tell you to do something and you look at me with your sweet blue eyes and say, “Yes Mama.”  You need to say this more often.  You are still a little Diva that loves to dress up.  You keep me on my toes more than your sister, Piper, ever did.  You are into everything and climbing everything.  It’s scary the things you think of.  I found you climbing from the toilet onto the countertop in search of lip balm!  Get down, already!  I am terrified that you will fall and really hurt yourself.

You need to be careful because I cannot follow behind you with a pillow to catch you if you fall.  Even though I really, really wish I could.

Mama loves you, Boo.

Love Mama
