In the middle of a potty break the other day, Davilyn and I were having a conversation. Mostly they consist of us talking about how using the potty is a great thing and she should do it all of the time instead of just when the mood strikes her. Our conversation went like this (Please keep in mind that she is 2.5 years old and does not speak clearly all the time. So this was extra cute because of that):
Davilyn: “Mama, can I fly with Santa this year?”
Me: “What? (Trying to translate some of what she said) No, you cannot fly with Santa this year.
Davilyn: “Why Mama?”
Me: “Because he is magic and little girls and boys cannot fly with Santa. Just Elves can fly with Santa.”
Davilyn: “Otay, Mama.”
And there you have it.
