Gingerbread creation. I have done a Gingerbread House every year for as long as I can remember. My university roommate and I even tried one where we actually rolled out the gingerbread and baked it ourselves. I’m not sure what we were thinking because those pre-made kits are so much easier!
This year Diva 1 and 2 did most of it themselves. I set it up for them and helped them get the icing on and they did the rest. It was messy but fun and it turned out quite nicely!
There was quite a bit of this going on
I just let them. They were so quiet and talking so nicely to each other that I would have let them eat every single last bit of candy.
They have been picking at the candy on and off now for the last two days. I’m not sure how much longer it will last but that is the point, right. It makes them happy and in return it makes me happy. I love all our little traditions and I hope that one day they will love them too.
