Dear Quinn ~

Whenever I sit down to write these monthly letters, I am amazed at how the time has passed.  I swear to the Diaper Genie that it seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating Piper’s 1st Christmas, then Davilyn’s… but dearest Quinn, here we are now celebrating yours.

I don’t think it is possible for me to feel more fulfilled than I do right now. We’ve been waiting all along for you. We just didn’t know it until you had arrived.  You have been doing so many new things this past month, I’m having a hard time keeping up!  You are crawling and backward waving.  You can go from the tummy position to sitting up. You are getting your first tooth.  When I saw that pearly white tooth poking up, I did the first tooth dance.  Well not really, but your sisters and I were pretty excited.  I can’t wait to see your smile full of pearly whites.

You are slowly starting to eat what the rest of us eat and you love it.  Every bite is savoured as you make these cute little noises while eating.  Quinn, if you didn’t already know, I love you.  I love your cute smile and your pudgy hands.  I love your soft, soft, teeny, tiny feet.  I love your belly and your knees.  I just love you.

You know what else, so do those two sisters of yours.  They love holding your hand. Hugging you and holding you.  They get so excited to see you in the morning or after a nap.  Davilyn calls you, Quinner, all the time.

We all celebrated Christmas with Gramma, Papa and Auntie.  You didn’t care for the toys as much as you cared for the wrapping paper, bags and ribbon.  You moved yourself around the living room searching for more.  I am so looking forward to celebrating your 1st Christmas.  Our last time celebrating the 1st Christmas of one of our babies, so this is extra special to Mama.

Mama loves you, Chickadee.

Love Mama
