You are so worth it!

I am and so are you!

I am excited and nervous and anxious to let you all in on my next review.  It’s more than just a review for me.  It’s pretty personal.  So, I am going to need all of your support and your encouragement.  And, maybe, if all goes well.  If you like what you see (or don’t see) then I can support and encourage you to try it for yourself.

On Monday I went to work.  Like any other Monday since I’ve returned to office, only this past Monday, I made a decision.  One of my co-workers has started a weight management program and she shared the details of it with me.  She also shared some of her fears, concerns and her sadness.  Some of which were the same as mine.

You know, like how it all starts off great.  Good intentions.  The first week goes well. You are eating right and exercising.  You are making an effort and then before you know it, you find yourself sitting in front of the computer or watching television in the evenings while snacking away.

You know those fears…. that you can’t do it.  There is so much weight to lose, you’ll never be able to lose it all.  Then you get discouraged and before you know it, you are no longer following the weight management schedule.  It has all gotten tossed to the side.

We are worth more than that.

We are worth the hard work to shed the pounds.  The hard work to get into shape.

I am worth it.

So, I came home and typed up an email to Tami Tyson at The Tyson Method and I told her that I wanted to review her product.  I asked her if it were something she would be interested in.  I hit send and then I waited.

This review is more than just receiving a product for free.  My part of the review is to put myself out there to all of you.  The good, the bad and the phat.  As scary as that is, I know it will keep me going.

I got an email back from her and she is on board.  This review is going to last 6 weeks.  I am jumping feet first into the Fat Shredder program in her Boot Camp 4 Moms and I am going to share my experience with you.  All of it.

I am not proud of my current weight and my lack of physical fitness but I do want to do something about it.  That’s a start, right!

I am completing the fat shredder program online.  She has a Members section on her website and she emails out a meal plan at the start of the week.  In the Members Section they make available to you a daily workout.  The workout is 20 minutes.  20 minutes!  I can fit that into my daily routine.  There is also a forum for the Members (there are 21 of us) to blog, give feedback, get support, ask questions.  It’s all about accountability and being honest.  Tracking what we eat during the day.

The good is, I can do this.

The bad is, I didn’t start sooner.

The phat is, 216.5.

I welcome you all to join me as I put myself first and become a healthier, happier me for my family and for myself.

You will do great! That is the hardest thing is the starting out and finding a place to fit into your daily routine. Ive lost 30 lbs so far. Get the kids to school and off to the gym I go. It is something that Ive missed and it feels so good because after awhile you start thinking…OMG this is me!! This is who I used to be and for you that great athlete is in there somewhere and it will feel so good when she comes out! Good luck Nicole even though I know you dont need;)

I keep thinking about losing weight, but, never get the motivation to do it. Kind of getting out of control. Good luck! Maybe your new life style change will motivate me to get my ass off the couch.

Good for you! I am definitely rooting for you and excited to watch your progress. I too, have started an exercise program this year. It is ALL about accountability. And it is about me, and it is about the kids.
Good luck!

You ARE worth it!!!
I get excited when I see Moms deciding that they ARE worth it… worth the time, worth the energy, worth all the hard work. As Moms we spend so much time taking care of the kids, the house, the cooking, our husbands, etc, etc, etc, sometimes we put ourselves on the bottom of the list.
But, by deciding that taking care of our selves is a priority, that our health is a priority, our confidence is a priority, really we are making ourselves better… for our kids, and for our husbands.
After I had Aiden I weighted over 200 lbs…. I always struggled with my weight, and finally decided that it was time to make a change. And I did it!! I changed my lifestyle and I have lost about 45 lbs in 3 yrs… and I feel great. I feel I am setting a good example for my kids, and my husband. It is hard work… but it’s sooo worth it.
You can do this!! Cheers, Nicole, and Good Luck 🙂
