Superwho?

Why it’s the Super Divas of course!

My girls love to play Super Hero. They are often asking me to take one of their blankets to tie around them like a super hero cape.  This happens on a daily basis here.

I had even thought of dressing them up as Super Heroes for Halloween, but they had other ideas.  So I tucked mine away for another day.  Then I found this website called Everybody’s Hero and I decided to get the girls their own special cape for Christmas.

I was so impressed with the product as I saw it online that I immediately emailed Michelle at Everybody’s Hero and asked her if I could feature her on my blog as a sponsor for a giveaway.  We agreed to touch base after the holidays were over.

Michelle is an educator with a Masters degree in early childhood education. Currently, she has the pleasure of being a stay at home mom of two boys (and a third due in June), ages 11 and 2 years old.   At home and in her classroom, she believes that play is imperative.  Letting children use their imaginations through play leads to vital creative and critical thinking skills.  When her youngest son was born, he went straight to NICU, initially for respiratory distress only to later find out there was something more serious and life changing – quite a scary place to be for any parent. Since then, she and her husband have learned that their son has a condition called Neurofibroma type 1.

During the creation of Everybody’s Hero, her heart went out to all the children she met at the Children’s Hospital or similar medical facilities.  “Those little babies have so much strength and so little understanding of what is going on, that they are all my little heroes. This is why I named my company Everbody’s Hero.  In honor of the little heroes closest to my heart, my children.” Michelle, Founder of Everybody’s Hero

She donates a portion of her proceeds to the Children’s Tumor Foundation to help further research treatments and hopefully, find a cure.

I am so excited that one of you has a chance to enter this giveaway and win one of her gorgeous capes (and they are gorgeous!).

Here is how you can enter:

1.  Go to her website, Everybody’s Hero, and click on the purchase tab on the side.  There you will see the different colours that she has available (continue to take a look around, if you wish ;-), come back here and tell me which colour you liked the best.

2.  Link my giveaway on facebook and come back here to tell me you did that.

3.  Like The Rumour Mill Facebook Page and come back here and tell me you did.

4.  Refer a friend to this giveaway and make sure they mention your name, then come back here to tell me you did that.

This contest will close on Friday at noon and I will post the winner as soon as I can!

It’s important that you leave separate comments for each entry since the WordPress Plugin that I use to pick a winner chooses from the comments posted.  See you in the comments.
