I said Goodbye…

To 5 lbs last week, thanks to The Tyson Method.  I am finding my groove in Tami’s Fat Shredder program through her Boot Camp 4 Moms and I am finding that it is not as hard as I thought it would be.  I am doing this!

I feel great!  I feel motivated to keep going.

The workouts are a challenge for me and just when I think I can’t do anymore, I hear Tami say, “It’s only 20 minutes, ladies!”  That really helps me to power through.  She mixes up her workouts and we might be doing some kickboxing and then she gets down on the ground and we work on our abs.  In one minute we are doing some aerobics and the next we are working on some yoga moves.  The personal shout outs are a nice touch (and I got my very own on Monday 😉 )

So far, this is a program that I would recommend to you.  You can do it in the comfort of your own home.  There is no gym membership, no babysitters to arrange and no car to warm up.  I simply take my lap top to the basement and go to the online workout and voila!  It’s been a great transition back to exercising for me because the workouts are only 20 minutes.  I can easily carve out 20 minutes of my day without feeling stressed out about trying to fit it in.  Especially when I am back to work 3x a week, running to the arena 3x (or more) a week, running a household, and sometimes doing it alone for a week at a time when my husband travels.

This past week has been a struggle to get everything done.  Craig was travelling and we have all been sick.  Last night the big girls went to bed like little Angels but Quinn was up fussy and crying until after 9:00.  I had to plop her on the floor and power through my workout.  What works best for me is to have my meals pre-planned and set to go.  If they aren’t then I find myself doing circles in the kitchen wondering what to have and then I end up having something that I should not.  I am really going to have to focus on this when I am back to work 3x a week (which is happening in February).

This truly is a lifestyle change but one that I am happy to make.  Eager to do and with Tami’s help, it does not seem so hard.

Tami has announced that she is starting another 6 week Fat Shredder program as early as February!  If you are interested, head over to her website, The Tyson Method, and check out her Boot Camp 4 Moms and join me!  I would love to share this experience with you.  The good, the bad and the phat!

It is addictive. You lose a little and you want to lose more. Keep up the momentum. Yay for you!
