Dearest Quinn~
My little Chickadee. My Squirt, Twig, Diva 3. You continue to be a Mama’s Girl and I love it. We celebrated your first Christmas this year and I loved watching you. You really had no idea what to make of it all but, between watching your sisters’ and eating the wrapping paper, you were having a great time!
Your sisters love you so much… sometimes too much. Piper, very much, wishes she could hold you and carry you but you are getting too big. Right now you are wearing mostly 18 – 24 month clothing. My heart aches a little bit each time that I retire more of your small clothes. It’s hard to believe that we are closing in on your 1st Birthday. This time last year, I was Getting Ready for Your Arrival and trying to enjoy what little time I had left with just you. You, just like your sisters, were eager to arrive.
You still only have two teeth. You are starting to climb up and pull up and before I know it you will be walking. You love your bath time and you love to have time in the evenings with just your Daddy and I. It doesn’t happen often, since bedtime for you is anywhere between 6:00 and 7:00. But. Every now and again, you join us later into the evening. You sit on the floor watching us. talking to us and cooing. If you don’t know, Quinn… I am going to miss this. When you start walking and running and talking. When you start asking to play hockey just like your big Sister, Piper. When you go to preschool. When you start kindergarten. When you learn to drive. When you graduate from high school and leave for University. When you get married. Have kids of your own. I am going to miss this. These days when you were just 10 months old and crawling around on my floors.
