It’s time for another Fat Shredder update!

10       8.5

Are you wondering what those there numbers mean?

The hardest time of the day for me is the evening.  I love my evenings after the kids are in bed to sit down and relax.  Open a bottle of wine and have some chocolate.  I also love popcorn.  Our local gas station sells by the (too big of a) bag and we often buy some to snack on.  I haven’t bought a bag of that popcorn since before I started this program.  I kinda, sorta miss it.

About the only things I am snacking on these days are fresh fruit, vegetables and protein bars.  I’m starting to get used to it.  I kinda miss the “junk food” snacks and the wine.  I will be totally honest and tell you that if there had of been a bag of chips in my house two nights ago I would have ripped them open! There were not.  I looked.  Expecting not to find any, because we haven’t been buying any, but hoping that their might be some.  You know, hidden at the back of the pantry.  Forgotten about.  Nope.  None.  So instead, I grabbed my water and retreated to my bed and played with Craig’s iPad.  A small victory.

The work outs (although only 20 minutes and Yay for only being 20 minutes) still challenge me and I try to push myself a little bit more with each one.  I am giving the food that I eat a second thought.  When I am making supper, I am considering what the healthier options are instead of just what is easy.  I think twice about having snack.  Do I really need that snack?  Am I hungry or am I bored?  If I find something else to do and the desire for a snack disappears, I wasn’t so hungry.  If it doesn’t then I listen and grab myself some fruit.

I am so thankful that I was introduced to The Tyson Method.  It was just what I needed when I needed it.  I feel good.  I have more energy.  I feel like my body feels good now that it is filled up on water, fruits, vegetables and protein instead of sugar and too many carbs.

I want to tell you that I think that if you are struggling with making this change in your life.  You can do it.  Tami at The Tyson Method can help you.  She is knowledgeable and inspirational.  It is hard to make that leap from the couch to the gym.  You are worth it! This is a program that I am standing beside.

So, those numbers at the top of this post.

10 is the number of pounds that I have lost after 2 weeks.  8.5 is the total number of inches that I have lost (I measure, breasts, chest, arms, waist, hips and thighs).

Great job! I have been working out x3 a week (something i never have done) for 4 weeks now. I feel great but havenot lost weight. Today I started the paleo diet. I know my daily meal plan had too many bad carbs and I snack mindlessly. I know I can lose this weight too 🙂
