Dearest Piper ~
You hit another big milestone this past month when you lost your very first tooth. I had never really given it much thought before but both your Daddy and I were feeling very nostalgic. We couldn’t believe it. Are you even old enough to start losing teeth? Those precious baby whites that showed us our first glimpse into your beautiful smile. You are constantly reminding me how quickly time passes. How fast you are growing up. Forever telling me to enjoy this time in our life because before I know it, another year has passed.
I still need these reminders. To slow down and enjoy you. Sometimes we all get caught up in the busy schedule and frustrations from the quick pace. I need to make a better effort to keep it all in check.
You are loving everything about playing hockey and you are improving more and more each time you get out on the ice and practise. Your determination and positive attitudes make me proud every day.
