Fat Shredder and Beyond

Six weeks ago I joined a friend on a journey.

One to better health, better fitness, and hopefully pounds lost.  Want to know what I learned on my journey?  I’ll share it with you.

*  It’s hard to make a lifestyle change.
*  It’s okay to fall as long as you get up each time.
*  I can go to a buffet and only make one trip for food.  Fill up a plate of salad, 1 Cup of      chili, a small dessert and be done.
*  It’s hard to make a lifestyle change.
*  Support = success.
*  Accountability = success.
* I still love my treats and my chips.
* Moderation, not denying oneself will keep me on this path.

I’ve learned that keeping a food diary is important to succeed.  It’s pretty easy to eat mindlessly and even forget how much or what you have eaten.  It matters what we put into our bodies and if I ask my children to make healthy choices, why shouldn’t I?

I worry about what they put into their bodies because they are worth it. I need to worry about what I put into mine because I am worth it.

The Fat Shredder Program from The Tyson Method has helped me to lose 11lbs and 14.75 inches in 6 weeks.  My Journey is just beginning.  I’m not done yet.  The next step is to just keep at it.  Keep going.

The Tyson Method takes us to the next level with their Nutrition4Life.  This gives us access to the online community.  The support from Tami and her husband, Charles as well as the other members who have embarked on this adventure.  It also gives us access to their 20 minute online workouts.

This is what has made it easier for me.  The closest gym is a 30 minute drive from my home.  That alone makes a gym membership for me a waste of money.  I cannot fit 2 hours of driving/working out into my day.  Instead, I take my laptop downstairs and go to The Tyson Method and click on the workout for the day.  Not to mention that it’s pretty hard to get back into working out and being physically active after years of not doing much.  It was pretty easy to fall into a routine that did not include regular exercise.  I am hoping that it becomes just as easy to fall into a routine that includes it.  I am less than 10 lbs away from my first goal!  I am hoping to see that goal by April.  Keep your fingers crossed for me, okay.

If you are interested in completing the 6 week Fat Shredder, you can! Head on over to The Tyson Method and sign up for her 6 week Fat Shredder starting February 28! If you keep me up to date on your progress and your thoughts about the program and how you are doing, I will encourage you!  I will support you and give you some shout outs.  I am not done with my journey and I moving on with The Tyson Method, and that means, I’m not done sharing this with you.  If you think that your family can’t adopt their meal plans and guidelines, you are wrong.  They can and they will and they will like it.

Now get over there and join me to a Healthier Us in 2011!  You are worth it!
