Dear Piper ~
We ended your first hockey season a week ago. It’s amazing that 8 months ago you could hardly stand on the ice and now you are playing hockey. It’s been a fun winter running from rink to rink. It’s also nice to see it come to an end. Time to welcome spring and get ready for summer. We have a few small adventures planned and this summer should be so much fun.
We are gearing up to play soccer and Mama is coaching your team this year. I hope it goes well. Yesterday we took the training wheels off your bike and got you out practising. It did not go well. You are very uncertain about the whole thing and you asked if we could just put the wheels back on. I know that once you see some of your friends flying by without training wheels, you will be eager to learn. You love to keep up with everyone else.
We have just over a month before we start our camping season and I know how much you are looking forward to it. We all love camping and it will be an extra fun year because Quinn will really be able to participate. I will have 3 sets of feet to clean before climbing into bed each night. So many adventures to go on together and I cannot wait to get started.
