Dear Quinn ~

This week we said goodbye to your soothers.  I’m not sure how well it is going.  You cry a lot more now at bed time, especially when we are away from home.  You were doing so well.  I hope it is just a short phase and will end when we get home on Sunday.

We are at Gramma & Papa’s celebrating your 2nd Easter.  All three of you were so spoiled and got way too much chocolate!  Daddy thought it would be a great idea to let you have chocolate for breakfast… you could not have agreed more.

It was fun watching you grab the Easter eggs and shake them.  You were busy digging through Piper and Davi’s baskets.  You were just enjoying the little chaos.  Next year you will really find this fun.

You are officially walking now.  Almost running!  You love to toddle down the hall to your Big Sisters’ room and play with them.  They still try to hold you and carry you, but you are getting so big.  You don’t sit still long enough for them hold you.  I remember back to this time last year when Piper would hold you and snuggle you in my bed before it was time for her to go to hers.  She really loved that.  You would sleep the entire time.

Spring is going to be busy for us again.  Your Big Sisters are playing soccer and you will be running around at the fields keeping your Daddy on his toes.  Mama is helping coach Piper’s team this year, so I won’t be able to chase you.

Then we head into the summer and we are hoping for some warm weather.  Camping should be a treat for us this year.  Last year you were still so little that you had no idea we were even camping.  This year will be quite different.  I will have to re-consider our sleeping arrangements.  No matter what, I am sure you will love camping just as much as the rest of us do.  I know you will love the marshmallows.

I can’t believe we are toasting to 13 months already.  I had hoped that you would stay my little Chickadee for a while longer.  Of all three of my Divas, I feel as though your first year went the fastest.  Seems so unfair and I am so very glad that we made the most of it.  And we really did.

Mama loves you Chickadee.

Love Mama
