Season is upon us. Dresses, dances, corsage and dreams. It’s been a long time since I’ve graduated but I remember the feelings like it was yesterday. It was not yesterday, for me, but someone in our house had a Graduation this week. Graduating (for the last time) from Preschool. Moving to the Big School in the fall. Off to Kindergarten. Growing up.
I cannot believe that Piper is 5 and is starting school in September. Soon, there will be lunch boxes and home work. New friends and school activities. Parent and Teacher interviews. She is no longer a preschooler. She is a little girl starting off on some pretty big adventures.
Piper, I am so proud of you and your excitement to start school. You were meant to be my first-born, a leader. You do things without hesitation and you are a great role model for your sisters. Congratulations on your Preschool Graduation, Smarty Pants!
