Dear Quinn ~

Oh my gosh, you are so busy.  I am pretty sure you are busier than your two sisters.  You try to climb over the back of the couch and you think it’s funny.  I do not think this is funny.  You are constantly on the go.

You spent a week with your sisters at Papa and Gramma’s.  We have been out camping and you are starting to settle into things a bit.  You love spending the day at the beach and you do really well to nap in the chariot.  Night time is still a bit hairy but once you fall asleep you are pretty good until sunrise.  Sometimes, we can convince you to go back to sleep until 7:00.

You have some words now too.  Here is what I have heard you say lately:

Mama, Dad, Milk, Up, Yes

It’s getting easier to communicate with you and you can shake your head for no and nod for yes.  This has really helped me out in trying to figure out what you need or want.  You still scream far too much.  It still makes my ears bleed.  I cannot wait for this phase to end.  I know that it means you are getting older, bigger. Growing up.  Know that I mostly feel sad about that, but this time, not so much.  Not if it means you will stop screaming and start talking.  Everyone else will appreciate it too.

You are still very much your Mama’s girl.  I don’t know when this will change but that’s okay.  I love our snuggles and our kisses.

We are having so much fun though, Quinn.  Watching you grow.  Listening to you laugh.  Seeing you play with your sisters and give them kisses goodnight.  You make this life worth it and I love you to the moon and back.

Mama loves you, Chickadee.

Love Mama.
