Trash the Dress

In July, Craig and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.  I have so much pride in our  marriage and our relationship and our 10 years together.  In celebration, we visited my friend Marian at Moments Photography by Marian, and had family photos done.  These are not your everyday Family Photos!  Nope, we decided to have a little fun.  A cute little White Dress that I wore 10 years earlier (almost to the day) made one final appearance and had one last hurrah. That dress laid in a big white box for 10 years, so I let it out one last time.  Marian refers to these sessions as “Don’t Box Me In!”

It was very difficult for me to narrow down some of my favourite photos (Marian provided me with over 150 of my digital proofs), but I tried and here are some of the ones that I love.

I know every parent really believes that their children are the most precious and beautiful.  I am no exception to the rule.  These 3 Divas of mine make my heart melt.  I stare at their photos and think, “I can’t believe that they are mine.”

Craig’s Girls… all four of us.

The girls were decorating some t-shirts that I had for them…. Piper loved every minute of what comes next.

Things got a wee bit crazy… a tad bit messy and a whole lot FUN!

We are a family that loves to laugh together whenever we can.  We love to have fun together (who doesn’t, right!) and this was so much fun.

We did a wee bit of every thing during this family photo shoot session.  I had thought about photographing a trash the dress session for years.  This turned out far better than I had imagined.

And even though, after 10 years that dress fit a bit tighter, I would not change a single second since the last time I wore it.  We have done so much living and loving in those 10 years and this cute White Dress loved one last hurrah and then we parted ways.

Hi,

My congratulations with your 10th Wedding Anniversary!
I was wondering if you still have the trashed wedding dress.
I was hoping that you want to help brides nin need to have a wonderful wedding.
I’m interested in purchasing the trashed dress as is. Donations are of course more than welcome.
I want to give the dress a try to restore it again in good condition.
I donate these dresses I can recover to brides in need. You can’t imagine what a smile they have when they can wear a real wedding dress at the big day.

I hope that you didn’t toss the dress and that you are willing to help.
Please check my website http://www.savethedress.be

You are free to contact me and I hope you will

Thank you already for your help

Hugs

Wendy
