Dearest Davilyn ~

Oh how you broke my heart when you cried and cried because you wanted to go to Piper’s hockey camp.  I wish you could have and hopefully next year you will be putting on hockey gear and playing too.

Next week you will start attending preschool two days a week.  I’m not sure where the last three years have gone.  I only hope that the next three take a little bit longer.  It was so fun buying you some dresses and skirts for your first year of school.  You kept saying, “ohhh, stylish!”  Just so you know, you look stylin’ in everything you wear.

Our summer is fading off into the sunset now and it has been a good one.  We managed to have so many adventures.  Adventures with you are so much fun.  You are growing into such a beautiful young girl.  You are no longer a baby.  Or a toddler.  You are my preschooler.  My lover of skirts and dresses.  Dancing and twirling.  One true Diva.

I am looking forward to all your little treasures coming home from preschool.  Treasures for our fridge, a scrapbook, our wall…. treasures for my heart. Treasures that we will pull out when you are older to admire.

I hope you love preschool.

Mama loves you, Boo.

Love Mama
