Dearest Quinn ~
I had truly hoped (and actually believed) that we would be far beyond the screaming phase. The reality is, I don’t see an end in sight. The tunnel is long and dark and I am about to lose my mind. I know you can talk. I’ve heard you! You just refuse to do it as a form of communication. This is not acceptable here. The screaming must end soon. Please (this is me begging now).

You love to watch Piper be silly. She has the talent for making you giggle and laugh. Your giggle is awesome. Your laugh like no other. You love to brush your teeth. You love to take your vitamins. You are often reminding me that you want them. You run into the kitchen and stand below the cupboard, pointing and grunting. Even I know what this means.
We celebrated your second Thanksgiving and we have so much to be thankful for. You, my dear, top that list. You are funny and cute. You love to play with my hair. You love to play with Annie. I see a bond forming as she follows you around.
Soon we will be out Trick or Treating. I can’t wait to see you. Will you be scared? Or will you go running just like your sisters. Halloween is one of my favourite days of the year and I can’t wait to share it with you.
