Dearest Quinn ~

My baby. My big girl.

Our time together is flying by. Soon, you will be two. You are well prepared for the Terrific Twos.  You do what you can to keep up with your sisters and you do a great job at that.  You are daring and cute.  Funny and sweet.  You are perfectly you!  You love hockey.  As much as your big sister, Piper does… maybe more.  You sit in front of the TV when the Jets are one and you stand for O’ Canada with your sisters.  It’s about one of the cutest things that I have ever seen.

Words you are saying now (loud and clear), “Mama, Daddy, Piper, Papa, Annie, Cheese, Mimi (milk), cookie, cracker, Gramma, hi, bye, up, done, yogurt, yes, boo boo, toast, hockey, dog, home, crib, bed, hey, talk, phone, apple, banana, poop, chocolate, Davi, Auntie, please”.  Some of your words are still hard to understand but those in this house know what you are saying.  I love listening to you learn to talk!  I have yet to hear you say “No” but you shake your head when you don’t want to do something.  You can dress yourself and love changing a few times a day.  Often we put you in your jammies only to find that you have taken them off.

You love Annie and you love to play with her.  It’s amazing what she allows you to do to her but she gladly follows you all around the house.  When you do sit still long enough, she will cuddle up beside you.  The bond between a child and her dog is awesome!

We have started introducing you to potty training.  Fun times are in store for us.  You do great during the week with our Nanny and on the weekends and evenings you test our patience.  But you tell us when you need to poop, and well, that makes this worth it.  My fingers are crossed for a diaper free summer!

Mama loves you, Chickadee.

Love Mama
