My first spring break with a baby in school. It’s been cold and rainy most of the week so they have been inside a lot. My parents came for a few days and when they left yesterday they took all 3 Divas with them.
After work, I called to see how the ride was and Davi said to me, “I miss you a little bit already, Mama.”
I miss them too. When they are gone, I don’t party like a rockstar. Seriously, who has that kind of energy?
Last night, Craig and I used some gift cards that he got at Christmas and went for a nice supper. We were still home and in bed before 9:00 p.m. I was sleeping soon after. Today, I am going shopping and then Craig and I will probably go out again for supper. We’ll clean the house, watch some hockey games with some friends and that will be our weekend.
We are lucky to get these little breaks every now and again. Then when we see the Divas on Sunday we will all be refreshed…. except maybe my parents. They’ll need a few days to recover.
