Dearest Davilyn ~
You have a like/dislike relationship with Ringette right now. You love being part of the team and doing the fun things the team gets to do (like go to a tournament in another town, stay at a hotel and swim) but that full hour on the ice is a bit more than you can handle.
After a game on the weekend you said to me:
Davi: “You know, Mama, I might quit this game some day.”
Me: “Really?”
Davi: “Yep. I might someday. But I’ll let you know.”
You really have come so far since the beginning of the year. You went from skating in your little area during games, to getting involved, going after the ring and scoring a goal. Davi Doodle, you even had a break away this weekend. Watching your 4-year-old frame skating on the ice is about one of the cutest things that I have ever seen. Please, continue to be cute! It’s been fun watching you play.
