T’was the night

before school starts and

I’m not overcome with glee.

My girls are growing up

way to fast.

Oh woe is me.

Piper starts grade two,

Davilyn goes to kindergarten,

Quinn is off to preschool and

still needs help with her shoe.

I tucked the Divas into bed

and turned out the light

I sat down with a glass wine

*sighed*

I can’t believe it’s a school night.
