Happened here this week. Finally.
The girls have been waiting and waiting. Piper started on Wednesday much to Davilyn’s disappointment, she had to wait a few more days. We took our annual school shot in front of the tree outside in our yard.
Piper started Grade 2. Is 7 years old and 54 inches tall.
Davilyn started kindergarten today. 5 years old and 44 inches tall.
Quinn, well she doesn’t start until next week but she had her meet the teacher yesterday and is so excited and ready to spend a few mornings a week in preschool. Yesterday was our first Friday morning alone together. We chatted. I had coffee while she had milk. We had snacks and cuddled on the couch.
Happy back to school everyone! May all the teachers know just how special our children are to us.
