Dear Davilyn ~
Oh this past month has been crazy. Busy. Unsettled. You started a new school, hockey, sleeping in a new bedroom. We are smack in the middle of moving and we have tried to settle into our new home as much as we could but it hasn’t been the smoothest transition. I have been back in Manitoba finishing up my work there. You have been with Daddy and your sisters in Ontario. It’s been hard but this weekend we will see it all come to an end and we will finally all be together in our new surroundings.
You have started playing hockey and, although you don’t love it like Piper does, you enjoy yourself enough to keep lacing up your skates and going back. Keep having fun. That’s what it is all about.
You started at your new school and hardly looked back. Full days have you coming home tired but you are loving it. You are excited to do homework, but are not a morning person! It’s been the biggest change for you because you leave the house a 1/2 hour earlier than you did before! You love riding the school bus and you get on, sit in the first seat like a boss. You make me smile.
Mommy has been away all week and you all arrive today! I can’t wait to see you and hug you.
