T’was the day before Christmas,
and all of our stuff is still packed.
I can’t find the snowmobile helmets,
man this year is whacked!
We forgot letters to Santa,
so sent emails instead.
I can’t keep it all straight,
those lists in my head.
We are hopeful for next year,
just hope the Divas get their loot.
Piper asked for a guitar,
I guess I’m thankful it’s not a flute.
Our spirits aren’t broken,
from the chaos this year,
Our move from Manitoba to Ontario,
has left us disorganized, I fear.
But the excitement is building,
can’t contain it with all our might.
So Happy Christmas to all,
